I am also so enthusiastic and impressed with the my NESTA experience, that if anyone was every sitting on the fence about doing any NESTA programs I would love to let you guys give out my e-mail or phone number for anyone wondering how other students felt.

So as I was saying, since I completed my certification with NESTA I have been giving a time slot at a wonderful yoga studio here in Toronto, it is called the Big Stretch Yoga Center. I teach a one hour Sport Yoga class on Wednesday nights from 7:30 -8:30. I also do a regular yoga class on Tuesdays, and I teach at the YMCA on Saturdays. Regarding money, The Big Stretch charges $15.00 a class and I get $8.00 per head. I have not had less than 20 people in my class so far ( I'm lucky to be at this location)

so 20 students X $8.00 = $160.00 for an hour! and people LOVE the class. Even at the slowest time if I only had 8 students it would be $64.00 dollars for an hour class, so it is a win win situation any way you look at it.

How are things going? My family and I have settled into our new place in Colorado Springs. I'm in the middle of the semester teaching philosophy to the cadets at the USAF Academy. It's very rewarding, but also very demanding in terms of time.

I just wanted to let you know that I've been teaching Sport Yoga and Spencer Pilates to the cadets as part of their activities program. The program director was looking for a volunteer to teach yoga and Pilates, so when I went to see him, I was immediately picked up.
They were very impressed with my NESTA credentials, and to date my classes have been the most well-attended of any classes they've ever offered. The director has been talking to other directors from other bases about the success of this class, so the word is getting out.

In terms of locations, you can now add the United States Air Force Academy in terms of where Sport Yoga and Spencer Pilates is being taught.

I hope all is well with you. I'm constantly checking the website for new programs, and I'm looking forward to the new yoga programs that Kelley's working on.

I started out in September teaching only three classes a week, with in a four month period I have managed to bring the total to 26 classes a week. I am featured as a key group activity at the following gyms in the West Palm Beach/Palm Beach Gardens, FL area:

I am so excited that my situation has changed for the better, my hourly rate before I started working as a yoga instructor was $16 per hour, now I make as little as $20 to as much as $35 per hour for group sessions. I also have managed to book private clients at $75 an hour.

I look forward to achieving more certifications in the body health industry.

Sport Yoga classes are being taught at the Eastern Virginia School for the
Performing Arts in Williamsburg, VA. I started classes in June and the
response has been great. I received my certification 1st of the year, but
had to hold off on teaching until after my baby was born. She came mid-March
and I'm already back to pre-pregnancy size and feel great. I really love
teaching and being an inspiration for others. I have students from the age
15 to 45 and they are all enjoying the benefits physically and mindfully.

I recently completed your Sport Yoga program (diploma dated April 10th) and wanted to thank you for putting together a truly well-presented home study learning opportunity, as well as a final exam designed to thoroughly test the student's knowledge of the subject matter. Less than two weeks after I received this diploma in the mail, I had an interview scheduled with my local YMCA, and I will begin teaching three yoga classes there starting at the end of June for the summer term, one in Sport Yoga. Although I also have a hatha yoga teaching diploma from another school (as well as 25 years' personal practice), I noticed that your diploma was the one most closely scrutinized! I was welcomed with open arms, and I feel that the Sport Yoga diploma gave me a credential suitable for a mainstream setting, where I believe I can bring benefits to many who would never think of going to a yoga center or retreat.
