International Students: NESTA is an international organization with over 45,000 members. Approximately 10% of all our members are from outside the U.S. NESTA members have thriving fitness careers in over 30 foreign countries. Countries outside the U.S. with the highest number of NESTA trainers/coaches are Canada, Japan, Australia & China. NESTA is fully accredited by the AADP (American Association of Drugless Practitioners). The AADP is an independent third party accrediting body which reviews curriculum, scope of practice and corporate policies of the entities it accredits

NESTA's Personal Trainer Certification is accredited by the NCCA

NESTA is a member of the National Organization for Competency Assurance

NESTA is a professional member of the International Association of Fitness Certifying Agencies. IAFCA - a joint effort on the part of certifying agencies to directly influence the safety and quality of interaction between the individual fitness trainer and the client.This is in response to public outcry for control in the fitness training profession.

NESTA complies with the Ethics & Safety Compliance Standards as set forth by the (IAFCA) International Association of Fitness Certifying Agencies. ESCS initiative's goal is to involve nationally recognized certifying agencies and certified trainer compliance requirements through the International Association of Fitness Certifying Agencies (IAFCA).

NESTA is a Corporate Member of IDEA -The World's Largest Association of Fitness Professionals.

We are a corporate member of IHRSA (International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association. IHRSA helps set standards for the fitness industry.

NESTA is an approved affiliate of the National Board of Fitness Examiners.
