Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall NESTA be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, from the use of the information provided in our business development programs, educational products, or consulting services.
For purposes of this section, NESTA shall include the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association, and its divisions, subsidiaries, successors, parent companies, and their employees, contractors, partners, principals, agents, and representatives, and any third-party providers or sources of information or data.
When you order any NESTA (or NESTA affiliate) educational or business program, you accept and agree to adhere to the NESTA Code of Ethics. You hereby certify that the information given to NESTA is true, complete, and correct. You further understand if any of this information is later determined to be false, NESTA reserves the right to revoke any certification (or certificate) that has been granted on the basis hereof. You further understand that NESTA certification does not certify or in any way guarantee the quality of your work as a NESTA-certified professional. You, therefore, agree to indemnify and hold harmless NESTA, its officers, directors, and staff from any claims due to negligence, omission or faulty advice that I may give to clients as a NESTA-certified professional. I understand that NESTA is not responsible for any actions or damages from any person arising out of my work as a NESTA-certified professional.

Online Formatted Programs and/or Digital Downloads Policy
Upon creating an account and/or logging in to any online program(s) or accessing and downloading any digital product(s) the user has read and agreed to the policies as listed on our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and the Company Policies as listed below.
If you do not agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions and the Company Policies, DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH NESTA.
Upon clicking on the the Complete Order button and successful payment completion, you will be automatically enrolled into your course(s) and your username and password will be emailed to you. It may take up to 5 minutes to receive. We appreciate your patience in advance. Check all email folders for the login email.

We want you to be confident in your purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund within 3 (three) business days of purchase. Here’s how:

- Full refund upon eligibility verification: Once we confirm you haven’t accessed any course materials or taken exams/quizzes, we’ll issue a full refund.
- Refunds are typically processed within 3-10 business days. Please note that the final turnaround time can vary depending on your bank.

- If you’ve taken any course exams/quizzes (regardless of passing or failing), refunds cannot be processed.
- Payment plans over 30 days old from the original purchase date are not eligible for this guarantee.

– Non-proctored exam attempts are non-refundable.

Digital Download and Online Access Usage Terms:
All registrations and logins are validated by the original registrant’s IP Address and email are recorded each time for validation purposes. If the registered student shares their login information, the original registrant will immediately lose all privileges and access to the online learning portal and course(s). No refund will be issued if the original registrant fails to comply with these terms.
Certificate Delivery
- Free digital certificate: All students who successfully pass the certificate exam will receive a complimentary digital certificate to download and print.
- Printed certificates:
- Free within North America: We offer free printed certificates for students within North America.
- International shipping: Printed certificates can be shipped internationally for an additional fee.
We are not responsible for postal delays or non-delivery of your certificate once it leaves the United States Postal Service.
Ordering
You may order secure online 24 hours a day! Course access will be emailed after payment has cleared. Credit card orders will be processed immediately. Any fraudulent use of a credit card is punishable to the fullest extent of the law.

Please note:

Flexible Payment Options
We understand that budgeting for education can be challenging. That’s why we offer flexible payment plans for select programs. Here’s how it works:
- Eligibility: Payment plans are available for specific programs only. You’ll see the option clearly displayed during checkout if applicable.
- Automatic Billing: If you choose a payment plan, your credit card will be automatically charged every 30 days until the program is fully paid. We’ll send you a reminder email beforehand.
- Payment Details: The specific duration and total amount of the payment plan will be clearly outlined on the program page.
- Important Reminders:
- Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Defaulting on any payment will result in termination of program access. Paid amounts will not be refunded in case of default.
For Your Peace of Mind:
We want to ensure a smooth learning experience. To avoid interruptions, please set up a reliable payment method and ensure sufficient funds are available for each automatic billing cycle.
Discounts or Sale Pricing Offers
Offers given after a program has been purchased will not be adjusted. Pricing is “as listed” at the time of purchase. No credits or adjustments will be issued after a program is purchased. Pricing is subject to change without any prior notice.
Exchanges
There are no exchanges on any programs.
Lost or Stolen Materials
NESTA is not responsible or required by law to replace any lost or stolen materials once an order has left our facility. We are not responsible for providing or giving access to any of our online programs if the student purchased a CD/DVD format.
Discontinuing Programs
NESTA holds the right to discontinue any programs, at any time, without prior notice. NESTA will not replace programs that are no longer in production or have been discontinued. Lifetime certificates will continue to be honored but cannot be replaced if the certificate is lost or stolen.

Important points to remember:
- Gift Certificates can only be used for eligible programs on our websites.
- Any unused amount will be stored as Store Credit in the recipient’s account for future purchases.
- If your order exceeds the Gift Certificate value, simply pay the remaining balance with a credit card.
Limitations:
- Gift Certificates cannot be used to buy other Gift Certificates.
- They cannot be resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash, or applied to any other account.
- Unused balances expire after five years from the issuance date.
Rest assured:
- The risk of loss for Gift Certificates transfers to you upon electronic delivery or transmission.
- We protect your information and cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed, or unauthorized used Gift Certificates.
Fraud
- NESTA will have the right to close student accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on www.nestacertified.com
Graudate Testimonial Drawing Rules
To enter, just submit your testimonial and a picture with your new certificate through our online form. You’ll be automatically entered into the drawing for a chance to win the monthly prize.
The Fine Print:
- You must submit both a photo and a completed testimonial to be entered.
- You can submit one unique certificate per month.
- The more certifications you earn and submit, the more chances you have to win!
- Your testimonial will be featured on our social media channels.
- Entries are accepted until the last day of each month. The cut-off time is 12:00 PM PT.
- A single winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries once per month.
- Winners will be notified via email.
- Winners will be asked to confirm their location and preferred payment method to receive the prize

Administration Fees
If a student requires additional documentation from NESTA (copy of certification, verification of certification, transcripts, billing adjustments, etc.), the student will be responsible for paying $25 for additional assistance outside of the normal customer support assistance.

NESTA Job Board
NESTA does not guarantee job placement for anyone using its job board; guarantee that an employer will fill the vacancy by advertising on the job board; guarantee the validity of any job vacancy submitted; perform background checks on job applicants or employers; assume any responsibility for wages, benefits, safety, working conditions, or any other aspect of employment.
3D Party Employment
We cannot guarantee employment at any particular facility after course completion.
NESTA-PFT Verification Tool
This feature allows interested parties, including the general public, to look up and verify a NESTA-PFT Certified Personal Trainer credential. Please click here to access the NESTA- PFT verification search.
For all other certification verifications, please contact our customer service department. Please note our Student Privacy Policy. If the student is not a NESTA-PFT graduate, and/or graduated prior to Jan 1, 2011 we must receive written approval from the student before NESTA can release any information. NESTA will be notifying past graduates and asking our graduates to participate in authorizing NESTA to release certification information to the public.
