Shorter Workout Classes Will Become the Norm

As seen through the rise of high-intensity interval training (or HIIT) in the past few years, shorter workouts can be just as effective at transforming the body as longer workouts. In fact, these types of workouts have been proven to offer the quickest results. High-intensity interval training revs your heart rate and turns workouts metabolic, meaning you burn fat long after you finish the workout.

Specialization will set Centers and Trainers Apart

To differentiate yourself or your center from other trainers or facilities, you need to consider expanding your specialized offerings. In an effort to accommodate ever-diversifying memberships and clients, in the new year, large clubs and small training businesses will continue to offer more and more specialized services and programs, such as weight-management, group classes, sport-specific training, yoga, and nutrition.
